Ballot Item 1 modifies CCRA Declaration of Restrictions to align political signage restriction with Arizona Revised Statutes ARS 33-1808.
Ballot Item 1: Change the following text in CCRA Declaration of Restrictions, Section 3:
FROM:
“The sign/flag can be placed 60 days before the election and removed 15 days after the general election.”
TO:
“In accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes ARS 33-1808, the sign/flag can be placed 71 days before the day of a primary election, and removed 15 days after the day of the general election, or removed 15 days after the primary election for a candidate who does not advance to the general election.”

Ballot Item 2 modifies CCRA Declaration of Restrictions to remove an incorrect specification of the payment-due date for annual membership dues. This change will allow the CCRA Rules & Regulations to specify dates of invoicing, payment due, and payment late.
Ballot Item 2: Change the following text in CCRA Declaration of Restrictions, Section 6(d):
FROM:
“The Owner of Record of each lot in said subdivisions shall pay to Casita Colony Recreation Association, within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice, as the regular assessment a sum equal to the aggregate of the following”
TO:
“The Owner of Record of each lot in said subdivisions shall pay to Casita Colony Recreation Association, on an annual basis, as the regular assessment a sum equal to the aggregate of the following”
